A subset $S\subseteq V(G)$ is called a total $k$-dominating set if every vertex in $G$ has at least $k$ neighbors in $S$. Two disjoint sets $A,B\subset V(G)$ form a total $k$-coalition in $G$ if none of them is a total $k$-dominating set in $G$ but their union $A\cup B$ is a total $k$-dominating set. A vertex partition $\Omega=\{V_{1},\ldots,V_{|\Omega|}\}$ of $G$ is a total $k$-coalition partition if each set $V_{i}$ forms a total $k$-coalition with another set $V_{j}$. The total $k$-coalition number ${\rm TC}_{k}(G)$ of $G$ equals the maximum cardinality of a total $k$-coalition partition of $G$. In this paper, the above-mentioned concepts are investigated from combinatorial points of view. Several sharp lower and upper bounds on ${\rm TC}_{k}(G)$ are proved, where the main emphasis is given on the invariant when $k=2$. As a consequence, the exact values of ${\rm TC}_2(G)$ when $G$ is a cubic graph or a $4$-regular graph are obtained. By using similar methods, an open question posed by Henning and Mojdeh regarding double coalition is answered. Moreover, ${\rm TC}_3(G)$ is determined when $G$ is a cubic graph.

1612. Stone products of the Roman municipium of Neviodunum, Pannonia (modern Drnovo, Slovenia)Katharina Zanier, Rok Brajkovič, Luka Gale, Matevž Novak, 2025, izvirni znanstveni članek Povzetek: The paper presents the lithologies used in the stone products of Neviodunum (modern Drnovo in Slovenia), a Roman municipium in south-western Pannonia. For this purpose, 95 stone monuments were assessed. Petrographic and biostratigraphic analyses were carried out on 56 archaeological and 57 geological samples. Our research shows that, besides some rare exceptions, most stone products refer to three lithostratigraphic units: the Middle Miocene ‘Lithothamnium’ Limestone Member of the Laško Formation, the Upper Cretaceous Krško Formation and the Early Jurassic Krka Limestone Member of the Podbukovje Formation.

1614. Paleoecology of Early Ladinian low-diversity radiolarian fauna from Mt. Svilaja (External Dinarides, Croatia)Špela Goričan, Tea Kolar-Jurkovšek, Dunja Aljinović, Tamara Troskot-Čorbić, Bogdan Jurkovšek, 2025, izvirni znanstveni članek Povzetek: Dark-grey cherty limestone from Mt. Svilaja contains moderately well-preserved radiolarians of unusually low diversity. Nineteen genera were encountered, namely, only one fourth of genera known from the time equivalent Buchenstein Formation. Based on conodonts, the studied interval is assigned to the Lower Ladinian Budurovignathus hungaricus Zone. Ammonoids and allochthonous fossil elements (calcareous algae, corals, brachiopods, bivalves, benthic foraminifera, terrestrial-plant remains) from the same interval were previously reported. Facies and organic-matter analyses support the interpretation of depositional setting in a semi-enclosed basin with oxygen-deficient bottom waters. The radiolarian assemblage consists of spherical Entactinaria (Pentactinocarpidae, Heptacladidae, Hindeosphaeridae) and Spumellaria (Archaeocenosphaera, Paurinella, Triassospongosphaera, Spongopallium), and monocyrtid Nassellaria (mostly Hozmadia). Among Pentactinocarpidae, Lobactinocapsa ellipsoconcha Dumitrica is abundant and characterized by considerable variability of the cortical shell regarding its shape (ovoid to spherical), wall thickness (single-layered to spongy), and number of external spines. Eptingiidae, Oertlispongidae, Relindellidae, and all multicyrtid Nassellaria, common in the Buchenstein Formation as well as in radiolarian cherts associated with ophiolites, are missing. Similar, although less drastically reduced radiolarian fauna is known from the coeval San Giorgio Dolomite, which was also deposited in an oxygen-deficient intra-platform basin. The San Giorgio fauna lacks multicyrtid Nassellaria but still contains abundant Eptingiidae, Oertlispongidae, and Relindellidae. The likely factor reducing the diversity in the intra-platform basins was the vertical extent of the oxygen-deficient lower water column. Only surface-dwelling radiolarians were successful in stratified basins with expanded deep-water hypoxia.

Preobrat na Gorenjskem v letu 1943Damjan Hančič, 2025, izvirni znanstveni članek Povzetek: Leto 1943 je prineslo več sprememb na vojaškem in političnem dogajanju na Gorenjskem, ki je bila že od aprila 1941 pod nemško okupacijo in z raznimi ukrepi nemških oblasti de facto vključena v Tretji rajh. Nemška država je v tem letu zaključevala še zadnje večje investicije v lokalno infrastrukturo, oblasti pa so začele izvajati tudi množično mobilizacijo v obvezno elovno službo in v nemško vojsko. Čeprav v začetku maja tega leta Gorenjsko obišče vodja SS in državni komisar za utrjevanje nemštva Heinrich Himmler, v tem letu propadejo še zadnji okupatorjevi germanizacijski načrti, zlasti dolgoročna kolonizacija nemških kmetov. Po kapitulaciji Italije septembra 1943 se na Gorenjskem okrepi moč partizanske vojske in zlasti dejavnost Varnostno-obveščevalne službe (VOS), hkrati pa naraste tudi število civilnih žrtev, ki jih ta povzroči. Ob prehodu iz leta 1943 v 1944 se posledično pojavijo tudi prvi zametki gorenjskega domobranstva. Poveča se nevarnost letalskih bombardiranj zahodnih zaveznikov, težja je tudi oskrba prebivalstva z življenjskimi potrebščinami.
