Iskanje po repozitoriju
A+ | A- | Pomoč | SLO | ENG

Napredno iskanje omogoča omejevanje števila rezultatov iskanja z vnosom iskalnih pojmov različnih kategorij v iskalna okna in uporabo logičnih operatorjev (IN, ALI ter IN NE).

Genomic signatures of climate-driven (mal)adaptation in an iconic conifer, the English Yew (Taxus baccata L.)
Thomas Francisco, Santiago C. González-Martínez, Maria Mayol, Elia Vajana, Miquel Riba, Marjana Westergren, Stephen Cavers, Sara Pinosio, Francesca Bagnoli, Maurizio Marchi, Filipos Aravanopoulos, 2025, zaključena znanstvena zbirka raziskovalnih podatkov

Povzetek: This dataset consists of a Variant Call Format (VCF) file containing genomic data from Taxus baccata (European yew). The dataset includes 11,374 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) identified across 490 individual trees sampled from across the European range of the species. This dataset was used to carry out a study investigating patterns of local adaptation and to assessing the risk of climate maladaptation using genomic offset approaches. English (2025-05-28)

Synthesis of a water-soluble BODIPY for targeting and assessing the function of endoplasmic reticulum
Jacopo Tricomi, Giacomo Biagiotti, Tommy Chastel, Serena Filiberti, Hana Kokot, Francesca Mancusi, Maja Žežlina, Layal Rajeh, Iztok Urbančič, Stéphane Bodin, 2025, izvirni znanstveni članek

Povzetek: We report here on a straightforward methodology to synthesize a new water-soluble fluorescent probe TrisBODIPY-OH 1 that contains three pH-independent hydrophilic arms. This probe has been prepared by exploiting a synthetic strategy that includes as a key step the combination of a Cu(I)-catalyzed azide−alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) and a Sonogashira cross-coupling in a sequential one-pot approach. Tris-BODIPY-OH 1 provides a significant advancement in the field by expanding the BODIPY toolbox with a biocompatible water-soluble probe, which can be used to specifically label and assess the function of the endoplasmic reticulum.

ICARUS : development, optimization, and harmonization of innovative characterization techniques for large volumes of radioactive waste
Bas Janssen, José Luis Leganés Nieto, Yevheniia Kudriashova, Lixin Qiao, Ferdinando Giordano, An Bielen, Marko Štrok, Anumaija Leskinen, Arturas Plukis, Eros Mossini, 2025, izvirni znanstveni članek

Povzetek: In the framework of the EURAD-2 partnership, the ICARUS (Innovative ChARacterization techniques for large volUmeS) work package aims at further developing, optimizing and harmonizing innovative techniques for the radiological, physical and chemical characterization of large volume of low/intermediate-level mixed waste, as it could be critical for the safe implementation of radioactive waste management programmes of the member states. Destructive Techniques (DT), Non-Destructive Techniques (NDT), and Scaling Factors (SF) will be investigated. Four use cases will be considered according to the end users’ needs: (i) enabling fast and sufficiently accurate characterization of gamma activity distribution by NDT in complex large packages, including mixed wastes as heterogeneous legacy waste; (ii) improving and simplifying NDT for determining physico-chemical properties; (iii) improving sensitivity, accuracy, and uncertainty and replacing the expensive and time-consuming radiochemical analysis of long-lived Difficult To Measure (DTM) radionuclides by DT; (iv) improving accuracy, uncertainty, and reliability of the SF approach to estimate DTM radionuclides in raw mixed waste. Specific education and training materials and opportunities will be provided to foster career advancement of young professionals and researchers. The research activities will be carried out by 29 organizations from 17 countries.

Joint sustainability reports (JSRs) to promote the third mission of universities
Roberto Biloslavo, Daniel Simon Schaebs, 2025, izvirni znanstveni članek

Povzetek: Higher Education Institutions (HEI) face increasing expectations to engage in sustainability reporting despite limited resources and heterogeneous practices. This study explores how Joint Sustainability Reports (JSR), built on the EU Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs (VSME), can serve as a cooperative and digitally supported framework to enhance transparency, comparability, and efficiency while strengthening universities’ third mission of societal engagement and knowledge transfer. Qualitative interviews with six sustainability experts from German and Austrian universities of applied sciences (UAS) highlight persistent challenges such as data gaps, staffing shortages, and weak strategic anchoring. The findings show that VSME-based JSRs, through shared data collection, centralised coordination, and modular reporting, enable resource and data pooling, standardised indicators, and cross-university synergies. By making social contributions more visible and credible, JSRs reinforce accountability and advance universities’ third mission in fostering community outreach and sustainable development
