1196. Municipal solid waste incineration (MSWI) bottom ash-blended cementitious materials : performance, challenges, and potential solutionsBoyu Chen, Priyadharshini Perumal, Chen Liu, Yun Chen, Cheng Chang, Majda Pavlin, Davor Kvočka, Vilma Ducman, Tero Luukkonen, Mirja Illikainen, Guang Ye, 2025, review article Abstract: The recycling of municipal solid waste incineration (MSWI) bottom ash as a supplementary cementitious material (SCM) has attracted global attention, driven by the increasing availability of this by-product and the demand for sustainable SCMs to lower CO2 emissions from cement production. Currently, the widespread use of MSWI bottom ash in the cement industry is hindered by the lack of guidelines to regulate material composition, optimize pretreatment processes, and specify mix design requirements. This review compiles and analyzes literature data on mix design, microstructural evolution, fresh properties, mechanical properties, durability, leaching risks, and environmental impacts of MSWI bottom ash-blended cement pastes, mortars, and concretes. The analysis aims to assess the influence of the pretreatment and physicochemical properties of bottom ash on the microstructure and performance of blended cementitious materials. The Ash Impact Strength Index (AISI) is introduced to quantify the effects of various factors on compressive strength, enabling direct comparison across different studies. Based on the statistical analysis of the 28-day AISI, the key quality requirements for MSWI bottom ash as an SCM are proposed, along with the optimal mix design. This work provides valuable insights and practical guidance to support the integration of bottom ash into the cement industry. 1197. Effect of sulfide in a 0.2 M NaCl solution on copper and pre-oxidized copper in oxic conditionsKlara Prijatelj, Tadeja Kosec, 2025, original scientific article Abstract: This study investigated copper and pre-oxidized copper immersed in 0.2 M NaCl solutions containing different concentrations of sulfide ions. In order to investigate the corrosion processes, the corrosion potential and electrochemical impedance at room temperature and at an elevated temperature were measured for 24 h during and after exposure to the chloride solution with different sulfide concentrations in aerated conditions. The surfaces of the pre-oxidized copper were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), a focused ion beam scanning electron microscopy (FIB-SEM), and Raman spectroscopy. It was shown that the concentration of sulfide ions in the chloride environments, in addition to the temperature itself, greatly affect the film formation in oxic conditions. The thickness of the films observed corresponds well to those calculated using cathodic stripping voltammetry. The mechanism of corroding copper in chloride/sulfide system was proposed. 1198. Korpusni vpogled v nestandardno spletno slovenščino : novi samostalniki in semantični premiki v komentarjih družbenih omrežij (JANES v1.0): raziskovalni podatkiMaša Rolih, complete scientific database of research data Abstract: Zbirka vsebuje raziskovalne podatke o novih in releksikaliziranih samostalnikih v nestandardni spletni slovenščini, izluščenih iz korpusa JANES v1.0 (2014–2018). 1200. Enumerating the number of $k$-matchings in successively amalgamated graphsSimon Grad, Sandi Klavžar, 2026, original scientific article Abstract: In this paper, the transfer matrix technique using the $k$-matching vector is developed to compute the number of $k$-matchings in an arbitrary graph which can be constructed by successive amalgamations over sets of cardinality two. This widely extends known methods from the literature developed for computing the number of $k$-matchings in benzenoid chains, octagonal chains, cyclooctatetraene chains, and arbitrary cyclic chains. Two examples demonstrating how the present method can be applied are given, one of them being an elaborated chemical example.
