Title:Screening for Mutations in Tp53 Tumor Suppressor Gene using DGGE and Sequencing
Abstract:Mutations in the T53 gene have been detected in more than 50% of different malignancies. The development of many of these diseases is directly associated with the mutations in the Tp53 gene. The aim of this article is to provide information about new methods that have been introduced into our Department of Molecular Diagnostics at the Institute of Oncology Ljubljana for scanning mutations in the Tp53 gene.
