Abstract:V okviru podoktorskega raziskovalnega projekta Tehnično okrepljeno nadzorovanje in boj zoper kriminaliteto: etični, pravni in kriminološki vidiki porajajočih se detekcijskih in nadzornih tehnologij, ki ga je financirala Agencija za raziskovalno dejavnost (št. Z5-4025) v obdobju med 7.2011 in 6.2013, je bila na Inštitutu za kriminologijo pri Pravni fakulteti v Ljubljani kot nosilni raziskovalni organizaciji, opravljena empirična študija o uporabi informacijske tehnologije, o kibernetski kriminaliteti in varstvu osebnih podatkov. Ciljna skupina anketiranja so bili študentje in dijaki srednjih šol v različnih regijah Slovenije.

Title:Information technology usage, cyber crime and personal data protection
Abstract:A postdoctoral research project “Surveillance and Crime Control: Ethical, legal and criminological aspects of emerging pre-crime detection and surveillance technologies” conducted by the author at the Institute of Criminology at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana and financed by the Slovenian Research Agency (no. Z5-4025) encompassed an online survey on the use of information technology. The survey looked into cybercrime victimisations on the one hand and cyber crime self-reports on the other hand. The survey also tackled personal data protection perceptions and measures respondents take to protect their personal data online and offline. The focus group of the survey was students and high school undergraduates in the period between July 2011 and June 2013.
