Title:Sodelovanje slovenskih gozdarskih strokovnjakov v zvezi IUFRO

Abstract:Mednarodna zveza gozdarskih raziskovalnih organizacij IUFRO že več kot 130 let povezuje strokovnjake s področja gozdarstva, lesarstva in drugih, z gozdom povezanih področij ter skrbi za prenos znanja med njenimi člani in širše v skupnosti. V Sloveniji pri prenosu znanja in informacij s področja gozdarstva med strokovno javnostjo že skoraj sto let igra ključno vlogo revija Gozdarski Vestnik (GV). Slednja pomembno razširja tudi novice in poroča o dogajanju iz zveze IUFRO. V prispevku predstavljamo kratko zgodovino zveze IUFRO, pregled objavljenih prispevkov, povezanih z zvezo IUFRO, ter osvetljujemo vlogo slovenskih gozdarskih strokovnjakov in raziskovalcev pri delovanju zveze IUFRO. Po izgradnji korpusa besedil, objavljenih v reviji GV, smo korpus preiskali po ključnem terminu IUFRO v vseh sklonih in oblikah. Vsaki najdbi smo pripisali vsebinsko ali strukturno kategorijo in izluščili avtorje besedila, kjer se termin nahaja. V reviji GV termin prvič zasledimo leta 1957, od takrat pa v povprečju skoraj dvakrat na izdano številko. Najpogosteje ga zasledimo v kontekstu poročil z dogodki ali o dogodkih IUFRO, uporabljene metodologije ali klasifikacije, kot literatura na seznamu virov ali zgolj kot omemba v besedilu prispevka. Avtorji teh prispevkov so bili udeleženci dogodkov, funkcionarji ali uporabniki metodologije ali klasifikacije, ki je bila oblikovana pod okriljem zveze. IUFRO ostaja pomemben igralec v svetovni gozdarski sferi in nadaljuje svoje poslanstvo, pri čemer bodo sodelovali tudi slovenski strokovnjaki.

Title:Cooperation of Slovenian Forestry Professionals in IUFRO
Abstract:or more than 130 years, the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) has been connecting experts in the fields of forestry, wood science, and other forest-related areas, and ensuring the transfer of knowledge among its members and the wider community. The Slovenian Professional Journal of Forestry (GV) has played a key role in the transfer of forest-related knowledge and information among the professional public in Slovenia. The journal plays an important role in disseminating news and reporting on events related to IUFRO. In this article, we provide a brief history of the IUFRO, an overview of published articles related to IUFRO, and we highlight the role of Slovenian forestry experts and researchers in IUFRO. After building a corpus of texts published in the GV journal, we searched it for keyword „IUFRO“ in all its forms and inflections. We assigned each find a content or structural category and identified the authors of the texts where the term appears. The term first appeared in the GV journal in 1957 and has since appeared on average almost twice per issue. The term is most commonly found in the context of reports from IUFRO events, methodologies or classifications used, as a literature in the references, or simply as a mention in the article text. The authors of these contributions were participants of events, officials, or users of methodologies or classifications developed under the auspices of the association. IUFRO remains an important player in the global forestry sphere and continues its mission, in which Slovenian experts will also participate.
