Abstract:Prevladujoče rastje Krajinskega parka Zgornja Idrijca je gozd. Tod uspeva pet evropsko varstveno pomembnih rastlin: Primula carniolica, Primula × venusta, Hladnikia pastinacifolia, Aquilegia iulia in Cypripedium calceolus. Rastlinske združbe, ki smo jih popisali Parku, uvrščamo v petnajst evropsko varstveno pomembnih habitatnih tipov.

Title:Characteristics of the vegetation and flora in the Landscape Park Zgornja Idrijca (western Slovenia)
Abstract:The predominating vegetation of the Landscape Park Zgornja Idrijca is forest. Its communities are classified into more than 25 associations. Most of their stands belong to habitat types of European conservation interest. They also include some nonforest vegetation communities, especially semi-dry grasslands on calcareous bedrock that are rich in protected orchids, some meadows with predominating moor grass (Molinia caerulea) and calcareous fens in Idrijska Bela and wetlands in the spring area of Idrijca bellow Mrzla Rupa. Chasmophytic and scree communities, as well as stony swards are found on the slopes and edges of high karst plateaus. Considering only vascular plants among more than 800 taxa we counted more than 60 protected species and 57 species from the Red List of the Republic of Slovenia. Five taxa of European conservation concern grow here: Aquilegia iulia, Primula carniolica, Primula × venusta, Hladnikia pastinacifolia, and Cypripedium calceolus. Recorded plant communities in the Park belong to fifteen Natura 2000 habitat types.
