Abstract:	Geodiverziteto opredeljujemo kot temelj biodiverzitete. Gre za pestrost nežive narave, ki ljudem med drugim daje zadovoljstvo, je pomembna dediščina in učilnica v naravi. Slednje je pomembno prav v izobraževalnem procesu, saj jo s poukom na prostem, terenskim delom in različnimi drugimi dejavnostmi uporabljamo za doseganje ciljev izobraževanja. Učenci se s spoznavanjem geodiverzitete zavedajo njene vrednosti in pomembnosti njenega varovanja. V prispevku so opisane možnosti za vključevanje vsebin o geodiverziteti v vzgojno-izobraževalni proces. Predstavljene so tudi nekatere ugotovitve raziskovalne naloge, ki sta jo v letu 2024 izvedli učenki Osnovne šole dr. Janeza Mencingerja Bohinjska Bistrica.

Title:	Learning about geodiversity in a primary school
Abstract:	We define geodiversity as the basis of biodiversity. It is about the diversity of inanimate nature, which, among other things, gives people pleasure, is an important heritage and a classroom in nature. The latter is particularly important in the educational process, as it is used to achieve educational goals through outdoor lessons, fieldwork and various other activities. By learning about geodiversity, students become aware of its value and the importance of its protection. The article describes the possibilities of including geodiversity content in schools. It also presents some results of the research project carried out in 2024 by two pupils of the Dr. Janez Mencinger Bohinjska Bistrica Primary School.
