Abstract:	Vinogradništvo v Vipavski dolini je v zadnjih dvesto letih doživelo velike spremembe, tako v metodah obdelovanja, kot v pomenu za kmetovalce. V tem prispevku smo spremembe med letoma 1820 in 2020 preučili na območju Krajevne skupnosti Branik, kjer je vinogradništvo pomembna dejavnost že več stoletij. Z analizo arhivskega in kartografskega gradiva, historične ter sodobne vinogradniške literature, pa tudi z intervjuji lokalih vinogradnikov smo vinogradniško zgodovino razdelili na štiri obdobja, ovrednotili trenutne težave pridelovalcev vin in iskali primerne možnosti za nadaljnji razvoj.

Title:	Viticulture on the farms of Branik from 1820s until 2020
Abstract:	Viticulture in the Vipava Valley has undergone significant changes in the last two hundred years, both in cultivation methods and in it’s importance for farmers. In this article, we examined these changes between 1820 and 2020, focusing on the area of the Branik Local Community, where viticulture has been an important activity for centuries. By analyzing archival and cartographic materials, historical and contemporary viticultural literature, and interviewing local vine growers, we have divided the viticultural history into four periods, assessed current challenges faced by wine producers, and identified suitable options for further development.
