Abstract:Struktura gozdno-lesne verige se med državami bistveno razlikuje: Avstrija in Češka izkazujeta višjo stopnjo notranje integracije in tehnološke kompleksnosti, medtem ko je Slovenija bolj odvisna od zunanjih inputov in ima bolj razpršeno strukturo proizvodnje.

Abstract:The structure of the forest-based value chain differs significantly across countries: Austria and Czechia exhibit higher levels of internal integration and technological complexity, while Slovenia shows a more fragmented structure and stronger dependence on external inputs. Value creation in Slovenia is more labour-intensive, with a high share of compensation of employees, whereas Austria achieves higher operating surpluses, indicating greater capital intensity and more efficient production structures. Productivity (value added per employee) is highest in Austria, lowest in Czechia, with Slovenia in an intermediate position, reflecting differences in production organization, processing depth, and integration within the broader industrial system.
