Title:Most Ceršak, most za pešce in kolesarje čez mejno reko Muro pri Ceršaku

Abstract:V prispevku sta predstavljena projekt in gradnja mostu za pešce in kolesarje čez mejno reko Muro pri Ceršaku, ki je bil zgrajen v okviru mednarodne kolesarske povezave Ceršak–Oberschwarza med občinama Šentilj (SLO) in Straß in Steiermark (AUT). Vsled turističnega razvoja v regiji je občina Šentilj pristopila k trajnostnemu razvoju kolesarske in pohodniške infrastrukture na območju občine, v okviru katere je kot eno večjih investicij zgradila tudi novi most čez reko Muro v Ceršaku. V zaključni fazi investicije se je občina Šentilj povezala z občino Straß in Steiermark v sosednji Avstriji, skupaj sta most zgradili s pomočjo evropskih sredstev, ki sta jih črpali iz evropskega programa čezmejnega sodelovanja Interreg. Most povezuje levo nabrežje reke Mure (avstrijska stran) in otok na Muri, med naravno strugo in dovodnim kanalom Male hidroelektrarne Ceršak (MHE Ceršak).

Title:Bridge Ceršak, pedestrian and cyclists bridge over the border river Mura at Ceršak
Abstract:The paper article presents the design and construction of a pedestrian and cyclist bridge over the border River Mura near Ceršak. The bridge was constructed as part of the international cycling link Ceršak–Oberschwarza, connecting the municipalities of Šentilj (Slovenia) and Straß in der Steiermark (Austria). In response to regional tourism development and increasing growing demand for non-motorized transport infrastructure, the Municipality of Šentilj initiated launched a programme for sustainable development of cycling and pedestrian infrastructure. As one of the key infrastructure investments within this programme, a new bridge, crossing the River Mura at Ceršak, was realized. In the final phase of the project, the Municipality of Šentilj partnered with the Municipality of Straß in der Steiermark in neighbouring Austria, and the bridge was jointly financed through European Union funds obtained under the Interreg cross-border cooperation programme. The bridge connects the left bank of the River Mura (Austrian side) with an island in the river, located between the natural riverbed and the intake channel of the Ceršak Small Hydropower Plant (SHP Ceršak).
