Abstract:This chapter presents an introductory study aimed at engaging minority students to assume the roles of informants, narrators, and mediators, conveying linguistic, cultural, and identity aspects of their community to mainstream lower secondary school pupils and teachers. Additionally, the project seeks to collaboratively develop content and methodologies that would bring the minority language closer to majority-language children, viewed through the perspective of young people.

Abstract:V tem poglavju je predstavljena uvodna študija, katere namen je bil pritegniti manjšinske učence, da prevzamejo vlogo informatorjev, pripovedovalcev in posrednikov ter posredujejo jezikovne, kulturne in identitetne vidike svoje skupnosti večinskim učencem in učiteljem nižjih razredov srednje šole. Poleg tega si projekt prizadeva za skupni razvoj vsebin in metodologij, ki bi manjšinski jezik približale večinskim otrokom, gledano z vidika mladih.
