Sogovorniki so visoko vrednotili naravno in kulturno dediščino prostora, ki se ohranja predvsem z ekstenzivnimi praksami, a je za večino ideal predstavljalo intenzivno kmetijstvo. Sebe so prepoznavali kot skrbnike narave, vendar bolj v kontekstu ohranjanja narave, primerne za dolgoročno in ekonomsko uspešno kmetijsko pridelavo, redkeje pa za varstvo prostoživečih rastlinskih in živalskih vrst. Title:	Nature conservation in agricultural practice – obstacle, necessity or opportunity?
Abstract:	In the article, the authors examine how farmers from Kras (the Karst) and Ljubljansko barje (Ljubljana Marshes) perceive the notion of the “good farmer” and “good landscape” with the purpose of better understanding their relationship towards nature conservation in agriculture. The study found that most respondents highly value the natural and cultural heritage of the area, which is mainly preserved through extensive farming, but for most farmers intensive farming is the ideal approach. They generally identify themselves as custodians of nature, but mainly in the context of the preservation of nature suitable for long-term, economically viable agricultural production, and rarely in relation to the protection of wild plant and animal species.
