Title:Marie Baumayer (1851–1931) : pot do profesionalne pianistke
Abstract:Marie Baumayer se je rodila v Celju, odraščala v Leobnu ter se izobraževala v Gradcu in na Dunaju. Konec 19. stoletja je postala poklicna koncertna pianistka. Toda kakšni so bili začetki pouka klavirja za dekle iz meščanske družine z malo glasbenega ozadja? Na primeru umetniške kariere Marie Baumayer članek ponazarja, kakšne možnosti izobrazbe so sploh obstajale za ženske na poti do poklicne glasbene kariere.
