Abstract:Bachove cvetne esence so dostopne tudi v lekarnah. Njihov izvor sega v začetek 20. stoletja, ko so v medicini prevladovale tradicionalne metode zdravljenja.

Title:Bach flower essences
Abstract:Bach flower essences are available in pharmacies. Their origin dates back to the early 20th century, when traditional methods still dominated medicine. In this context, physician Edward Bach developed essences intended to support emotional difficulties. he believed that illness stems from emotional imbalances. The essences are prescribed individually, based on a person’s emotional state. They are applied in diluted form, taken as drops several times a day. Methodologically weak clinical studies without placebo controls show positive effects of Bach flower essences. however, the highest-quality, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies indicate that their effects are comparable to placebo. Pharmacists provide patients with verified, scientifically based information. Therefore, they inform users that there is no evidence Bach flower essences are more effective than placebo. They recommend over-the-counter medications for the symptoms described and emphasize that medical consultation is necessary for more serious or longlasting issues.
