Abstract:
V članku so povzete raziskave o prisotnosti mikrobov na površinah informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije ter o potencialni nevarnosti za prenos le-teh na pacienta. V nadaljevanju so nakazane smernice za uporabo te tehnologije v kliničnem okolju v skladu s smernicami obvladovanja bolnišničnih okužb.

Computer equipment must be included in the nosocomial infection control system
Abstract:
The paper summarizes the research findindgs on the presence of microbes on the surfaces of information and communication technology devices along with potential risks for transmission of microbes to patients. The following recommendations should be observed in the use and maintenance of these devicesin clinical settings in accordance with the guidelines of hospital infection management.
