Title:
Diabetes and healthy diet
Abstract:
The article deals with the importance of healthy diet in the treatment of diabetes. Without it, no other method of treatment is efficient enough. The diet of a diabetic patient is a healty, balanced diet which can be recommendedto every healthy individual. By means of a healthy diet, high bloodsugar and its postprandial rise can be lowered, as well as the level of fats in blood and blood pressure in diabetic patients. Health education - counseling on healthy eating - is carried out by properly trained personnel (nurses, dieticians, physicians). Each patient is included into counseling in a clinic for diabetes.
