Abstract:
The article describes the nursing care of the patients before and after heart surgery. The preparation for surgical proceedings is very important, and so isthe role of the nurse in the process. Described are the procedures and activities of the nurse working in the intensive care unit which demand extraordinary psychical and physical capacities.
