Prvi del članka opisuje načela dobronamernosti in neškodljivosti, nastanek neugodnih dogodkov in načine, kakojih vgraditi v sistem izboljševanja kakovosti. Namen vzpostavitve sistema spremljanja neugodnih dogodkov je v preprečevanju novih pojavov in slabih izidov v zdravstveni negi. Drugi, empirični del članka raziskuje zastavljena vprašanja na temo upoštevanja etičnih načel v praksi. Avtorica ugotovi, da se na delovnih mesrih premalo pogovarjamo o etičnih dilemah in da neupoštevanje smernic v praksi rešujemo kolegialno med seboj. Na koncu so predstavljeni predlogi za strategijo programa za izboljševanje kakovosti. Title:	Respecting ethical principles of beneficence and nonmaleficence in health careinstitutions
Abstract:	The article presents methods of ethical principles of beneficience and nonmaleficience assurance in health care institutions. The first part deals with the principles of beneficence and nonmaleficence, the occurence of unfavourable events and ways of their inclusion into the system of quality assurance. The purpose of the establishment of the system of monitoring of unfavourable events is preventions of them in the future and prevention of malpractice in nursing care. The second part of the article brings the empirical analysis of the answers to the questions about the use of ethical principles in practice. In conclusion, the author asseses that more discussionof ethical dilemmas would have been required in the workplace and that inconsideration of directions in practice is solved more or less on a peer to peer basis. In conclusion propositions for the strategy of the programfor quality assurance are presented.
