Abstract:V članku so predstavljene ugotovitve raziskave o problemih, ki se pojavijo pri hranjenju bolnikov po možganski kapi. Raziskava je potekala v dveh domovihza starejše na podlagi anketiranja bolnikov in tistih, ki jim nudijo pomoč pri hranjenju. V raziskavo je bilo zajetih 62 bolnikov po možganski kapi. Cilj raziskave je bil ugotoviti, kateri in kako pogosti so problemi prihranjenju in kakšen je odnos bolnikov do njih. Ugotovitve raziskave so pokazale, da so težave pri hranjenju po kapi pogost in resen problem, saj so bile ugotovljene v 76% anketiranih ter da imajo globlje duševne in socialne posledice.

Title:Problems of feeding after stroke
Abstract:The article presents the findings of the research on problems occuring in feeding the patients after stroke. The research study was carried out in two old people's homes by means of inquiries for 62 patients and personnel helpingthem wilh their feeding. The goal of the research was to find out kindsand severity of the problems and the attitude of patients towards them. It has been found out that problems with feeding following stroke are a frequent and severe problem, occurring in 76% of the cases, having also deep psychological and social consequences.
