Obravnavanaje kakovost življenja na domu s stališča teorij zdravstvene nege Virginije Henderson, Caliste Roy in Dorothee Orem. Tematika kakovosti življenja je tesno povezana z modelom občutljivosti in stresa. S teoretičnega vidika se dotika invalidnosti kot vzroka stiske, ter socialnega okolja, predvsem družine in družinskih konfliktov ter svetovalnega dela v družini, ki v raziskavo ni bila zajeta. Preiskovanec ima zadovoljene tako materialne in neosebne ter socialne potrebe kakor tudi potrebe po osebnem razvoju. V treh letih po poškodbi je razvil pozitivno samopodobo. Lahko zaključim, da preiskovanec živi kakovostno življenje. Iz te študije ni mogoče delati posplošitev na populacijo. Title:	Quality of life of a tetraplegic - case study
Abstract:	The article describes a case study of a tetraplegic patient. It focuses on theinterpretation of the patient's quality of life after an accident from the viewpoint of the theories of Virginia Henderson, Calista Roy and Dorothee Orem. Quality of life is closely connected to the model of sensitivity and stress; it deals with invalidity as the cause of a crisis, and with the socialenvironment, in particular with the family and family conflicts, and brings advice on how to work with the family.
