Potrebe po negovalnih oddelkih so tudi pri nas zelo velike. Z odprtjem negovalnih oddelkov bi zmanjšali pritisk na bolnišnice hkrati pa omogočili bolnikom kakovostnejši prehod iz bolnišnice v domačo ali domsko oskrbo. Študija upravičenosti odprtja negovalnega oddelka je bila osnova za izdelavo projekta negovalnega oddelka v Bolnišnici Golnik - Kliničnem oddelku za pljučne bolezniin alergijo. Rezultati študije so potrdili potrebo odprtja negovalnega oddelka v naši bolnišnici. Rezultati študije pa so bili tudi osnova za določitev kadrovske strukture glede na vrsto zavarovalne nege in ostalih potreb bolnikov, predvidenih za negovalni oddelek, ter nacionalni projekt o potrebah po negovalnih posteljah v slovenskih bolnišnicah. Sestava tima mora biti multidisciplinarna. Za sprejem v negovalni oddelek morajo biti postavljeni jasni kriteriji in določena zgornja časovna meja bivanja na njem. Takšna oblika negovalnih oddelkov bi tudi v Sloveniji prispevala h kakovostnejši obravnavi bolnika in omogočila ekonomski prihranek. Title:	Conceptual project of a nursing department at the Hospital Golnik
Abstract:	All over the world, short-term and long-term nursing care are a part of holistic health care. The existing needs for nursing departments are high alsoin our country. The introduction of nursing departments would lessen the pressure on hospitals and enable an easier transition from hospital to home or institutional care. The feasibility study of a nursing department was the starting point of the project for such a department at the Hospital Golnik - the department for lung and allergic diseases. The results of the study revealed the need for such a department in our hospital and were the basis for the determination of the structure of the staff in the light of the nursingcare performed and the needs of the patients who would occupy it, as well as for the national project to find out the needs for nursing beds in Slovenian hospitals. The composition of the team should multidisciplinary. Clear criteria for admission should be set as well as upper time limit of the stay on such a ward. Also in Slovenia, nursing department would enable better quality of care of patients, as well economical savings.
