Abstract:Sestavek opredeljuje zdravstveno vzgojo svojcev varovanca z demenco na programiran način. Povzema temeljne sestavine zdravstvenovzgojnega suportnega programa, njegov namen in cilj ter predstavi razvoj tovrstnih programov v svetu. Delo natančno opredeli temeljne potrebe, ki narekujejo takšen pristop, predstavi demenco in posledična odstopanja na področju samooskrbe in funkcioniranja varovancev s takšnimi motnjami. Avtorica razmeji vsebinske enote, način organiziranja in evalviranja programa kot dela širše kvalitativneraziskave.

Title:Health education of relatives of demented patients in units for clinical psyhiatry at the psyhiatric hospital in Ljubljana
Abstract:The article describes programmed health education of relatives of demented patients. Basic ingredients of health education support program, its purpose and aims are described, and aims of similar programmes carried out elsewhere presented. The article defines the needs required by such approach, describes dementia and deficiencies in the fields of self care and overall functioning of such patients. The author delineates subject units, and the method of organization and evaluation of such programs of work as a part of a more comprehensive quality research.
