Abstract:
Članek umešča dejavnost in izobraževanje za zdravstveno nego v kontekst družbenih sprememb poznomoderne dobe. Obravnavani so sociološki vidiki dejavnosti ter profesionalizacija kot stratetija uveljavljanja poklicne skupine, ki je za zdravstveno nego le delno uspešen projekt. Pojavljajo pa se možnosti "novega" profesionalizma v fleksibilnem in spremenljivem okolju poznemoderne. Iobraževanje za zdravstveno nego prehaja na visokošolsko raven in zdravstvena nega postaja akademska disciplina, pri tem pa ima probleme, od razvoja raziskovanja do oblikovanja nove paradigme poučevanja in nove vloge učiteljev, študentov in študijskih programov v smeri nastajanja kritičnega mišljenja kot značilne pridobitve visokega izobraževanja.

Title:
Reasons for the transition of the education in nursing care to the university level and its characteristics
Abstract:
The article places the education in nursing care inside the context of social changes of the late modern period. Sociological aspects of the process and professionalization as the strategy for the assertion of the vocational which have proved to be only partially successful for nursing care, are discussed. There appear to be opportunities of "new" professionalism in the flexible and changeable circumstances of the late modern period. The education innursing care is passing over to the university level and becoming one of the ocademic disciplines; the described process is being accompanied by several poblems, extending from the development of research work work to the shaping of new paradigm of teaching and the new role of teachers, students and new curricula,especially in the view of the development of critical thinking whichis a characteristic trait of the university level of education.
