Abstract:Prispevek obravnava elemente prožnega določanja plač v plačnem sistemu javnega sektorja, ki je uveljavljen od 1. 1. 2025. Pri tem izhaja iz slabosti oziroma pomanjkljivosti dosedanjega plačnega sistema, ki so narekovale potrebo po novih institutih. Najpomembnejša instituta za zagotovitev večje prožnosti plač sta t.i. možnost določitve višjega plačnega razreda ter spregled izobrazbe.

Title:The flexibility of wage determination in the public sector with specifics for health and social security
Abstract:The article discusses the elements of flexible wage determination in the public sector wage system, which has been in effect since January 1, 2025. It builds on the shortcomings and deficiencies of the previous wage system, which highlighted the need for new mechanisms. The two most important mechanisms introduced to ensure greater wage flexibility are the so-called option to assign a higher pay grade and the possibility to disregard formal education requirements.
