Abstract:Na normalni ultrazvočni sliki dojke - sonomamogramu - ločimo hiperehogeni kožni sloj, hipoehogeno podkožno maŠčevje, ehogeno fibroglandularno plast, hipoehogeno nekonstantno retroglandularno maščevje, za njim pa črtasto strukturirano maščobno tkivo.

Title:Ultrasound anatomy of the breast, instrumentation and technique of sonomammography
Abstract:On a normal sonomammogram, the following layers are seen, a hyperechoic cutaneous layer, hypoechoic subcutaneous fat, echogenic fibrograndular layer, hypoechoic retroglandular fat and striated muscular tissue. Breast sonography should be carried out by a top-quality diagnostic equipement with a high-frequency (of at least 7.5 Mhz) ultrasound probe having a large field of view. During the examination the patient usually is lying, with ipsilateral arm under the head. The examination of the breast stars from the outside towards the nipple in the middle and backwards, with scan plane of the probe being throughout the examination perpendicular to the radius of the breast.
