There are two search modes available: simple and advanced. Simple search can include one or more words from the title, summary, keywords or full text, but does not allow the use of search operators. Advanced search allows to limit the number of search results by entering the search terms of different categories in the search window, as well as the use of Boolean search operators (AND, OR and AND NOT). In search results short formats of records are displayed and some data are displayed as links, which open a detailed description of the material (title link) or perform a new search (author or keyword link).

Čeprav v začetku maja tega leta Gorenjsko obišče vodja SS in državni komisar za utrjevanje nemštva Heinrich Himmler, v tem letu propadejo še zadnji okupatorjevi germanizacijski načrti, zlasti dolgoročna kolonizacija nemških kmetov.

Abstract: Razprava želi prikazati stanje slovenskega šolstva v coni A nekdanje Julijske Benečije pred podpisom Pariške mirovne pogodbe 10. februarja 1947 in po njem.

Eco-friendly bioleaching : innovative technology for extracting critical raw materials from WEE
Dragica Marinič, Miha Štruc, Primož Oprčkal, 2025, published scientific conference contribution

Abstract: The rapid growth of the quantity of generated electronic waste (ewaste), driven by the increasing demand for electrical and electronic equipment (EEE), has raised urgent concerns regarding its environmental and health impacts. E-waste is the fastes tgrowing global waste stream, with only a small fraction recycled sustainably. Printed circuit boards (PCBs), a major component of e-waste, contain valuable metals and hazardous substances, complicating recycling efforts. This study explores bioleaching as an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional recycling methods. Bioleaching, utilising microorganisms such as Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans and A. thiooxidans, which can effectively extracts metals like copper, nickel, and zinc from e-waste, reducing environmental contamination. Our research, conducted under the EIT RawMaterials WEEE-NET9 project, focuses on bioleaching's potential for sustainable recovery of critical raw materials (CRMs) from e-waste. Results demonstrate the effectiveness of bioleaching in metal extraction, supporting the EU's goals of increasing CRM recycling and reducing reliance on primary sources for critical materials, which we have to import into the EU.

Selective seperation of magnesium from Slovenian dolomites
Jernej Imperl, Mitja Kolar, Vilma Ducman, Gorazd Žibret, Lea Žibret, 2025, published scientific conference contribution

Abstract: Although magnesium is one of the most abundant elements on Earth by weight, the demand for magnesium is constantly increasing due to its widespread use in a diverse range of industries such as metal alloys, electronics, batteries, agricultural and pharmaceutical compounds. For this reason, magnesium is categorised as a critical raw material by the European Union. Dolomite CaMg(CO3)2 is one of the most important mineral sources of magnesium, which in its pure form contains 13.18 % magnesium by weight. Various pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical processes have been developed and are used to extract magnesium from dolomite and other magnesium ores. In this study, samples of dolomite of different geological ages were collected in Slovenia and their elemental composition was analysed by microwave-assisted acid digestion and ICP-OES. Magnesium was then extracted by selective leaching and selective precipitation. Leaching was carried out with inorganic and organic acids. The separation of magnesium and calcium in a solution prepared by dissolving dolomite with acid was carried out by precipitation with hydroxide and oxalate. High extraction yields of magnesium and a significant separation between the two metals were achieved with both methods.
