There are two search modes available: simple and advanced. Simple search can include one or more words from the title, summary, keywords or full text, but does not allow the use of search operators. Advanced search allows to limit the number of search results by entering the search terms of different categories in the search window, as well as the use of Boolean search operators (AND, OR and AND NOT). In search results short formats of records are displayed and some data are displayed as links, which open a detailed description of the material (title link) or perform a new search (author or keyword link).

Rewarding organisations for sustainable mobility of their employees : a multi-criteria assessment model and certification framework
Marko Bohanec, Davor Kontić, Bernard Ženko, Martin Žnidaršič, Karina Sirk, Rok Vodopivec, 2025, original scientific article

Abstract: The concept of sustainable mobility is aimed at minimising environmental impacts of transportation systems while meeting the needs of individuals and communities. This includes encouraging citizens to choose sustainable modes of transportation: walking, cycling, public transport, carpooling, and telecommuting. We present an approach at rewarding organisations that actively support the sustainable mobility of their employees, and propose a framework for awarding a sustainable mobility certificate to organisations that fulfil sustainable mobility goals and objectives. The assessment is carried out using a qualitative rule-based multi-criteria model, which considers 50 indicators. Other elements of the certification process include methods for assessing the mobility structure of employees in the organisation and its potential for improvement. In this paper, we present the main components of the proposed certification framework and illustrate its application for assessing the status of sustainable mobility of employees at a Slovenian research institute.

Room-temperature multiferroic liquids: ferroelectric and ferromagnetic order in a hybrid nanoparticle–liquid crystal system
Hajnalka Nádasi, Peter Medle Rupnik, Darja Lisjak, Nerea Sebastián Ugarteche, Alenka Mertelj, Alexey Eremin, 2025, original scientific article

Abstract: Responsiveness to multiple stimuli and adaptivity are paramount for designing smart multifunctional materials. In soft, partially ordered systems, these features can often be achieved via self-assembly, allowing for the combination of diverse components in a complex nanostructured material. Here, an example of a liquid is demonstrated that simultaneously displays both ferroelectric and ferromagnetic types of order. This material is a nanostructured liquid crystalline hybrid comprising ferrimagnetic barium hexaferrite nanoplatelets suspended in a ferroelectric nematic host. Director-mediated interactions drive the self-assembly of nanoplatelets in an intricate network. Due to the coupling between the polar electric and magnetic types of order, this material demonstrates magnetically driven electric and nonlinear optical responses, as well as electrically driven magnetic response. Such multiferroic liquids are highly promising for applications in energy harvesting, nonlinear optics, and sensors.

Dynamics of proximity-induced magnetism at cobalt/molecular interfaces
Jaka Strohsack, Andrei Shumilin, Hui Zhao, Gregor Jecl, Viktor V. Kabanov, Tomaž Mertelj, 2025, original scientific article

Abstract: Interfacing ferromagnetic metals with organic molecules is a versatile strategy to control key parameters in magnetic and spintronic technologies. Hybridization between the metal’s surface d orbitals and molecular p orbitals profoundly alters both the interfacial molecular layer and adjacent metal interface atomic layers, causing substantial changes in the magnetic properties of metal/molecule heterostructures. While magnetic modifications within the metallic layer are relatively well understood, the interfacial magnetism remains elusive. Using ultrafast time-resolved magneto-optical spectroscopy, we investigate the magnetic dynamics in such heterostructures and identify a distinct interfacial magnetic component that appears universal across various cobalt/molecule combinations. Our findings reveal a highly anisotropic magnetic layer localized at the interface, which has remained undetected in static measurements. This interfacial layer likely originates from strong chemical modifications in the cobalt surface induced by chemisorbed molecules. These results underscore the crucial role of molecular chemisorption in shaping interfacial magnetic properties, offering further opportunities for tuning functionalities in molecule-based spintronic devices.

On subelliptic equations on stratified Lie groups driven by singular nonlinearity and weak $L^1$ data
Subhashree Sahu, Debajyoti Choudhuri, Dušan Repovš, 2025, original scientific article

Abstract: The article is about an elliptic problem defined on a stratified Lie group. Both sub and superlinear cases are considered whose solutions are guaranteed to exist in light of the interplay between the nonlinearities and the weak $L^1$ datum. The existence of infinitely many solutions is proved for suitable values of $\lambda$, $p$, $q$ by using the Symmetric Mountain Pass Theorem.

A completion of counterexamples to the classical central limit theorem for triplewise independent and identically distributed random variables
Martin Raič, 2025, original scientific article

Abstract: By the Lindeberg–Lévy central limit theorem, standardized partial sums of a sequence of mutually independent and identically distributed random variables converge in law to the standard normal distribution. It is known that mutual independence cannot be relaxed to pairwise independence, nor even to triplewise independence. Counterexamples have been constructed for most marginal distributions: a recent construction works under a condition which excludes certain probability distributions with atomic parts, in particular almost all distributions on a fixed finite set. In the present paper, we show that this condition can be lifted: for any probability distribution $F$ on the real line, which has finite variance and is not concentrated in a single point, there exists a sequence of triplewise independent random variables with distribution $F$, such that its standardized partial sums converge in law to a distribution which is not normal. There is also scope for extension to $k$-tuplewise independence.

Boj za glagoljaško liturgijo v luči poročanja avstrijskih namestnikov v Zadru med letoma 1902–1913
Sara Hajdinac, 2024, original scientific article

Abstract: Glagoljaška liturgija je zaradi uporabe staroslovanskega jezika in pisave glagolice predstavljala edino nelatinsko enklavo znotraj rimskokatoliškega verskega obreda, razširjeno predvsem v beneških Stato da Màr. Ta članek prinaša vpogled v boj za glagoljaško liturgijo skozi poročila namestnikov Erasmusa von Handla, Nikolausa Nardellija in Mariusa grofa Attems-Heiligenkreuza.
