There are two search modes available: simple and advanced. Simple search can include one or more words from the title, summary, keywords or full text, but does not allow the use of search operators. Advanced search allows to limit the number of search results by entering the search terms of different categories in the search window, as well as the use of Boolean search operators (AND, OR and AND NOT). In search results short formats of records are displayed and some data are displayed as links, which open a detailed description of the material (title link) or perform a new search (author or keyword link).

Dr. Franc Klar: zdravnik in narodni poslanec pred Sodiščem slovenske narodne časti
Mateja Čoh Kladnik, 2019, original scientific article

Abstract: Dr. Franc Klar (1896–1967) je bil prekmurski zdravnik in politik. Proces je bil politične narave, Klaru so bile kršene pravice do poštenega sojenja, možnosti zagovora in obrambe.

Publicistična dejavnost dr. Lovra Šturma v okviru Inštituta Karantanija
Andrej Naglič, 2019, professional article

Abstract: Prispevek razkriva in sistematično prikazuje izdajateljsko dejavnost Inštituta Karantanija v Ljubljani, ki ga je pred dobrimi petnajstimi leti ustanovil dr.

Lažno upanje: slovenska partizanska vojska in prelomno leto 1943

Alterations in Muscle Contractile Properties, Structure, and Function During 10-Day Bed Rest, Post-Recovery, and Following COVID-19 Lockdown
Boštjan Šimunič, Martino V. Franchi, Fabio Sarto, Elena Monti, complete scientific database of research data

Abstract: We aimed to identify early tensiomyography alterations in six muscles during a 10-day bed rest (BR10), followed by a 30-day recovery period (R+30), and to compare these changes with those observed after the 54-day COVID-19 lockdown in ten healthy males (22.9 ± 5.0 years). Tensiomyography and muscle thickness (sonography) were assessed at baseline, during bed rest, at BR10, R+30, and after the COVID-19 lockdown. Additional assessments included vertical jump performance (force plate), body composition (bioimpedance), physical activity (GPAQ), and lower back pain (VAS). By BR10, participants experienced a 1.9% body mass loss, a 3.8% increase in fat mass, and a 2.4% reduction in muscle mass. While anthropometric parameters returned to baseline by R+30, fat mass increased again by 3.9% post-lockdown. Jump height declined by 10.1% at BR10, returned to baseline at R+30, and remained stable thereafter. Muscle thickness decreased by 7.0% in the vastus lateralis at BR10 and by 10.1% post-lockdown. Tensiomyographic amplitude increased in all five leg muscles prior to BR10, recovered at R+30 and increased again after the COVID-19 lockdown, while a reduction was observed in the erector spinae within the first 48 hours, coinciding with reported lower back pain. In the erector spinae, both delay and contraction time decreased during BR10 and post-lockdown. In contrast, contraction time of the biceps femoris increased before BR10 and remained elevated post-lockdown. Overall, tensiomyographic parameters after the COVID-19 lockdown changed in the same direction as during bed rest, though to a lesser degree, make it a sensitive tool for detecting changes in muscle structural and functional quality after bed rest and reduced activity paradigms.

Two new species of Nitocrella (Copepoda, Harpacticoida) from a spring in Loei Province, northeastern Thailand
Chaichat Boonyanusith, Anton Brancelj, La-orsri Sanoamuang, 2025, original scientific article

Abstract: Two new species of the genus Nitocrella are described from a karstic spring in Loei Province, northeast Thailand. They are the first representatives of the genus Nitocrella Chappuis, 1924, described from Thailand. Nitocrella grandicaudis sp. nov. and N. thailandensis sp. nov. show the peculiar shapes of the inner element of the male P1 basis, the basis of the mandible, and the proximal endite of the maxilla, differing from their congeners. While N. grandicaudis sp. nov. belongs to the chappuisi group according to the absence of a proximal inner seta on the third exopodal segment of the fourth swimming leg, N. thailandensis sp. nov. belongs to the vasconica group because the seta is present on the segment. Despite the low degree of differentiation in morphological characters, the shape of the female caudal ramus and the proximal seta of the male fifth segment of the antennule suggest that N. grandicaudis sp. nov. differs significantly from the other new species in its mating behavior. A detailed description and illustrations of two new species are provided, as well as a discussion on the divergence of both new species. Some comments on the basic understanding of the reproductive behavior of Harpacticoida are included.

Influence of Matrix, Filler, and structural design on the dielectric and energy storage properties of cellulose composites
Mohammed Arif Poothanari, Hanuma Reddy Tiyyagura, Yasir Beeran Potta Thara, 2025, review article

Abstract: Cellulose is a renewable, biodegradable, cost-effective, and easy-to-process natural biopolymer. Because of its dielectric, piezoelectric, and mechanical performance, cellulose and its composites are often used as a matrix, filler, substrate, gel electrolyte, and dielectric layer for flexible energy storage devices. They offer easy fabrication strategies and excellent mechanical properties. In this mini-review, we summarized the principles of dielectric and energy storage features of cellulose composites and factors affecting their dielectric properties, mainly exploring the incorporation of various filler materials in the cellulose matrices and cellulose materials acting as different types of fillers. Moreover, the fabrication strategies, structural design, and matrix-filler interactions of cellulose composites enhance their dielectric properties as systematically reviewed. This review summarizes the current state-of-the-art progress of cellulose dielectric composites, challenges, and future outlook for green dielectric and energy storage devices. The review suggests that optimizing the filler type, cellulose fiber content, fabrication techniques, and structural design can significantly enhance the dielectric properties and energy storage capacity of cellulose composites.
