Abstract: The biological activity of rat fibroblast beta interferon was studied. Rat embryonal fibroblasts (Wistar strain-WiREF) were used as a source of interferon. Cells were grown in suspension and on the microcarries (Cytodex 3). In the exponential phase of cell growth the induction was performed. The biological activity of the obtained interferon was tested on the homologous cells. Interferon's influence on cell growth, morphology and intracellular level of some hydrolases was measured. Keywords: fibroblasts-drug effects, interferon-beta, ratsPublished in DiRROS: 10.01.2024; Views: 292; Downloads: 74 Full text (384,48 KB)
Abstract: The natural porcine motogen induced gamma interferon (PoIFN gamma) was studied and compared with the human inerferons gamma (HuIFN gamma) and alpha (HuIFN alpha). A comparison was performed by the following criteria: pH 2.0 and 56 C stability, molecular weight, dot-blot reactions and cross reactivity (neutralisation index). The biological activity of porcine and human interferons in vitro (antiviral and antiproliferative) was correlated on humannontransformed (HEF) and transformed cells (FL).Keywords: interferon type II-analysis, cells, cultured-drug effectsPublished in DiRROS: 10.01.2024; Views: 248; Downloads: 81 Full text (335,59 KB)
