Files: | XLSX - Research data, download (251,95 KB) MD5: 4BAE480E8BD4A7387FFD3C076A08E17A Description: This dataset contains the original results of DTA/TG analysis of individual ashes (A1-A8) after 28 days of CO2 exposure at 20°C and 50-55% RH using Netzsch Proteus Thermal Analysis software. The data are linked to Figure 6 in the article.
XLSX - Research data, download (11,76 KB) MD5: 243B204AEF1CA1C5854B88521ED48A42 Description: This dataset contains the weights of each ash (A1-A8) before and after CO2 exposure (after 1, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days) at a temperature of 20 °C and relative humidity of 50-55% and 80-85%. The original masses of waste ash before and during carbonation treatment, and the masses of sequestered CO2 after carbonation treatment are given. This data set also includes mass uptake calculations, shown in Tables 2 and 3 in the article.
XLSX - Research data, download (11,15 KB) MD5: 208E475AABB3EF10C76A618AEB2629F5 Description: This dataset contains the calculations for the theoretical maximum of sequestered CO2 (based on XRF results) and the carbonation efficiency (CE), which is determined as the ratio between the percentage of experimentally sequestered CO2 and the theoretical maximum CO2 value. The data are linked to Tables 2 and 3 and Figure 8 in the article.

Abstract: | The dataset supports the data in the tables and figures in the article Methodology for evaluating the CO2 sequestration capacity of waste ashes (doi: 10.3390/ma16155284). It contains the original masses of waste ash before and during carbonation treatment, the sequestered CO2 masses after carbonation treatment, mass uptake calculations, calcimetric measurements, calculations of theoretical maximum sequestered CO2 (based on XRF results) and carbonation efficiency (CE), original results of DTA/TG analysis of individual ashes, original results of XRF measurement and data from XRD analyses supported by X-ray diffractograms not published in the article. |
