Title:Možnosti zaznavanja drevesnih vrst v okviru Monitoringa gozdov in gozdnih ekosistemov

Abstract:Analizirali smo možnosti zaznavanja drevesnih vrst v okviru Monitoringa gozdov in gozdnih ekosistemov (MGGE) s poudarkom na manjšinskih in tujerodnih drevesnih vrstah ter možnosti zaznavanja razlik v pestrosti drevesnih vrst med posameznimi ekološkimi regijami. Zaznavanje minoritetnih in tujerodnih drevesnih vrst bi lahko izboljšali z obsežnejšim šifrantom drevesnih vrst, katerega dopolnitve smo predlagali. Take drevesne vrste bi zajeli z večjo verjetnostjo pri gostejši vzorčni mreži od obstoječe (4 km % 4 km). Opozorili smo tudi na pomen pravilne determinacije drevesne vrste na vzorčni ploskvi. V okviru MGGE smo ugotovili razlike v pestrosti drevesnih vrst med ekološkimi regijami; kot najpestrejša se je pokazala submediteranska ekološka regija.

Title:Possibilities for detecting tree species in the framework of monitoring of forests and forest ecosystems
Abstract:We analyzed possibilities for detecting tree species in the framework of Monitoring of Forests and Forest Ecosystems (MGGE) with the highlight on minority and non-native tree species as well as possibilities for detecting the differences in the tree species diversity between each ecological regions. Detecting minority and non-native tree species could be improved by a more extent tree species list; we suggested its completion. Such tree species would be more likely encompassed in a more dense sampling grid than the existing one (4 km % 4 km). We also draw attention to the significance of the right determination of the tree species on the sampling plot. In the MGGE framework we stated differences in the tree species diversity between the ecological regions; the Sub-Mediterranean ecological region proved to be the most diverse.
