Napredno iskanje omogoča omejevanje števila rezultatov iskanja z vnosom iskalnih pojmov različnih kategorij v iskalna okna in uporabo logičnih operatorjev (IN, ALI ter IN NE).

Tag, Nacht, Zwielicht : Eine Annäherung an Fink und Levinas
Lutz Niemann, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek

Povzetek: Day, Night, Twilight. An Approach to Fink and Levinas This contribution presents Eugen Fink’s and Emmanuel Levinas’s thought along the metaphors of day and night. Both Fink’s cosmology and the philosophy Levinas developed in Totality and Infinity are read as locating the human being between day (light) and night. The present discussion of their philosophies is guided by the question of how Fink and Levinas, who share the criticism of the metaphysics of light, try to overcome it. Special emphasis is put on the notions of unity and difference as well as the notion of totality. Further, both try to break the totalizing tendency of light by radically thinking the infinite. First, Fink’s cosmology is presented. In a second step, Levinas’s thinking from Totality and Infinity is discussed. A juxtaposition of both attempts marks the conclusion of the paper.

L’espace et le corps vécus du point de vue cosmologique : Eugen Fink et Renaud Barbaras
Karel Novotný, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek

Povzetek: Space and Body Experienced from the Cosmological Viewpoint. Eugen Fink and Renaud Barbaras The article addresses the question of the relationship between the phenomenological and the cosmological perspectives on space: space is the encompassing, it gives place and is centered in and through the embodiment of those who perceive in space. Does the oriented character of space, experienced in this manner, bind or separate cosmology and phenomenology? There exists a radical break between the two approaches, which the article pursues selectively in Fink’s university lectures, from early as 1945 onwards. Barbaras, on the contrary, proceeds from phenomenology, even if he moves more and more clearly beyond the Husserlian dualist framework of the universal correlation between consciousness and the world, in order to think the world itself. The article seeks to capture the common features and to understand the differences between the two cosmological perspectives regarding the origin of space, from their shared phenomenological provenance to the philosophical inspirations that separate them.

The Sense of Community Is the Community of Sense : On Discovering the “We” with Eugen Fink and Jean-Luc Nancy
Artur R. Boelderl, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek

Povzetek: The article discusses some striking correspondences between the respective accounts of sociality as developed by Eugen Fink in his Freiburg lecture on Existenz und Coexistenz (1952/53, repeated in 1968/69, first published in 1987) under the notion “community” (Gemeinschaft) and likewise by Jean-Luc Nancy in various books and articles since the 1980s, most notably in La communauté désoeuvrée (1983) and Être singulier pluriel (1996). Their common ground is established by a chiasmatic logic Fink considers essential for community as such: if it has a sense (rather than “meaning”), it is this very sense that is a communal one. Thus, the sense of community is community, or, in the words of Jean-Luc Nancy who elaborates an analogous idea from a special reading of Kant’s first and third Critiques that is by no means alien to Fink’s own: “We are the sense.”

Mit Fink am Tisch : Zu Eugen Finks Philosophie der Sozialität
Jakub Čapek, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek

Povzetek: With Fink at Table. On Eugen Fink’s Philosophy of Sociality Fink’s philosophy of sociality does not start from the experience of the individual other, but from the primacy of participation in the same world. Fink unfolds this idea in the context of material culture, that is, in his analysis of how we interact with everyday things, such as tables. Such things are not merely objects of use, but can become “meaningful things” that symbolically represent our existence, and they represent it as a fundamentally shared existence. The essay draws attention to the fact that not all sharing, as Fink claims, provides unity. Reference is made to Hannah Arendt’s analysis of the table and the world, which, like Fink, holds that human dependence on objects is essential, with the difference that she ascribes both unifying and separating significance to objects and the world. In the conclusion, some critical observations on Fink are made. Fink did not reflect on the ambiguity in the concept of sharing, and his claim that sharing establishes communal unity is thus rather unfounded. Further, his conviction that philosophy of sociality is based on the cosmological concept of the world is viewed in a critical light, since it tempts one to assume a unity of the world, which, however, is never guaranteed in advance.

The Philosophical Question of Community in the Light of Cosmologic Difference : Some Notes on Eugen Fink
Marcia Sá Cavalcante Schuback, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek

Povzetek: The present article discusses some theses by Eugen Fink on the philosophical question of community in the light of the cosmic sense of the world and the cosmologic difference. Fink centers his thoughts on community in the experience of cosmic belonging and proposes a basis for thinking the question of community beyond the dialectics of individual and bond, searching for a pre-individual notion of togetherness. The key for such a notion is the erotic body as the experience of a belonging-together of the day and the night of being. It is from the belonging-together of a diurnal and a nocturnal principle of understanding that the cosmic sense of the world emerges as cosmic difference in the erotic body.

Arbeit als Weltverhältnis : Annäherungen an Finks Grundphänomen der Arbeit
Dominique F. Epple, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek

Povzetek: Labor as a Worldly Relation. Approaches to Fink’s Fundamental Phenomenon of Labor This paper makes an attempt in exploring the relationship between world and labor in Fink’s philosophy. Although Fink considered labor as a “human basic phenomenon,” the worldliness of labor remains unevolved. I suppose that Fink implicitly deals with this matter in his reflections upon labor and nature. Hence, this paper examines Fink’s critical stance towards the traditional notion of labor/nature and his alternative proposition: “wilderness.” An analysis of the latter shows that labor does not simply create products (artificial objects), but regional ontologies (“Seiendheiten”) of the natural and artificial as such. In so doing, labor reveals itself as an ontological activity. I propose that “wilderness” is governed by an eminent but unthematized spatial sense, which will be unfolded by interpreting “wilderness” as a frontier, thus pondering the limitations of both labor and entities as such. The application of the concept of “Umwelt” enables us to approach labor’s worldliness.

Überlegungen zur Ontologie und zur „ontologischen Erfahrung“ bei Eugen Fink
Anna Luiza Coli, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek

Povzetek: Reflections upon Ontology and the “Ontological Experience” in Eugen Fink The paper aims to present Fink’s critique of the Husserlian phenomenology from the perspective of the ontological problematic as it was addressed in his philosophy. For this purpose, we start from the manuscripts around the lost 1940 Treatise on Phenomenological Research, in order to arrive at his late formulations of the key concept “ontological experience.” Though there is no pretension in discussing Fink’s interpretations of Husserl, Nietzsche, or Hegel, the present study aims to present the development of the ontological problematic from Fink’s own perspective.

Ortswelt und Weltraum : Eugen Fink und die Philosophie des Ortes im Gespräch
Annika Schlitte, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek

Povzetek: Place-World and World-Space. Eugen Fink and Philosophy of Place in Discussion The article attempts to bring Eugen Fink’s understanding of space into a discussion with newer approaches in phenomenology and hermeneutics, which expressly focus on the notion of place. With regard to the observation that philosophy of place has as yet only scarcely referred to Eugen Fink the question arises how could it profit from a confrontation with Fink’s cosmology. Upon an introductory deliberation concerning some of the fundamentals of Edward Casey’s and Jeff Malpas’s philosophy of space, we elaborate the central aspects of Fink’s comprehension of space, in order to accentuate the common characteristics and differences between his understanding and the recent research orientation. By contrasting in this manner Fink’s cosmological thinking with the topological thinking of the philosophy of space, can with the inclusion of Fink’s notion of anthropological and social spatiality a research field be outlined, which could impart onto philosophy of place a potential practical dimension.

Dem Horizont entgegen : Die kosmische Welt bei Fink und Barbaras
István Fazakas, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek

Povzetek: Towards the Horizon. The Cosmic World in Fink and Barbaras In this paper, I investigate Fink’s cosmological phenomenology based on a reading of Welt und Endlichkeit and Sein und Mensch in contrast with new developments of Renaud Barbaras’s phenomenology of the world. First, I focus on an opposition between the understanding of the world as a horizon and the cosmological world beyond any horizontality. I then show how the description of the elemental dimension of the world functions for Fink as a path leading to a pure cosmological thought. By doing so, I highlight an amphibology between the understanding of the cosmic world as space and/or matter that is implicit both in Fink and in new elaborations of Barbaras, especially in L’appartenance (2019).
