There are two search modes available: simple and advanced. Simple search can include one or more words from the title, summary, keywords or full text, but does not allow the use of search operators. Advanced search allows to limit the number of search results by entering the search terms of different categories in the search window, as well as the use of Boolean search operators (AND, OR and AND NOT). In search results short formats of records are displayed and some data are displayed as links, which open a detailed description of the material (title link) or perform a new search (author or keyword link).

Contact urticaria and related conditions: clinical review
Olivier Aerts, David Pesqué, Melba Munoz, Riccardo Asero, Margarida Gonçalo, Thomas Rustemeyer, Mark Kačar, Ana M. Giménez-Arnau, 2025, review article

Abstract: Contact urticaria (CoU) is an immediate contact reaction occurring within minutes to an hour after exposure to specific proteins or chemicals. CoU is categorised into non-immunologic (NI-CoU) and immunologic (I-CoU) types, with I-CoU potentially leading to anaphylaxis. Both forms of CoU can be associated with protein contact dermatitis and the CoU syndrome. Patients with I-CoU may also have other type I (immediate) allergic diseases, such as allergic conjunctivitis, rhinitis, asthma or food allergy. This review provides a detailed overview of CoU and related conditions, focusing on triggers, diagnostic methods and management strategies. NI-CoU is typically triggered by low molecular weight chemicals, while I-CoU involves IgE-mediated hypersensitivity to both high molecular weight proteins and low molecular weight chemicals. Early diagnosis is crucial, though CoU is often underrecognized. The diagnostic approach includes a thorough medical history, physical examination, evaluation of photographs, (non)invasive skin tests and in vitro assessments. Management strategies prioritise trigger avoidance and pharmacological treatments when avoidance is not fully possible. For I-CoU, second-generation H1-antihistamines are the first-line treatment. Severe cases of I-CoU may benefit from anti-IgE therapy (omalizumab). Patients at risk of anaphylaxis should carry an adrenaline auto-injector and wear a medical alert bracelet.

A review of methods for unobtrusive measurement of work-related well-being
Zoja Anžur, Klara Žinkovič, Junoš Lukan, Gašper Slapničar, Sebastijan Trojer, Mitja Luštrek, Marc Langheinrich, 2025, review article

Abstract: Work-related well-being is an important research topic, as it is linked to various aspects of individuals’ lives, including job performance. To measure it effectively, unobtrusive sensors are desirable to minimize the burden on employees. Because there is a lack of consensus on the definitions of well-being in the psychological literature in terms of its dimensions, our work begins by proposing a conceptualization of well-being based on the refined definition of health provided by the World Health Organization. We focus on reviewing the existing literature on the unobtrusive measurement of well-being. In our literature review, we focus on affect, engagement, fatigue, stress, sleep deprivation, physical comfort, and social interactions. Our initial search resulted in a total of 644 studies, from which we then reviewed 35, revealing a variety of behavioral markers such as facial expressions, posture, eye movements, and speech. The most commonly used sensory devices were red, green, and blue (RGB) cameras, followed by microphones and smartphones. The methods capture a variety of behavioral markers, the most common being body movement, facial expressions, and posture. Our work serves as an investigation into various unobtrusive measuring methods applicable to the workplace context, aiming to foster a more employee-centric approach to the measurement of well-being and to emphasize its affective component.

Orthogonalisability of joins of graphs
Rupert H. Levene, Polona Oblak, Helena Šmigoc, 2025, original scientific article

Abstract: A graph is said to be orthogonalisable if the set of real symmetric matrices whose off-diagonal pattern is prescribed by its edges contains an orthogonal matrix. We determine some necessary and some sufficient conditions on the sizes of the connected components of two graphs for their join to be orthogonalisable. In some cases, those conditions coincide, and we present several families of joins of graphs that are orthogonalisable.

The genetic consequences of population marginality : a case study in maritime pine
Adélaïde Theraroz, Santiago C. González-Martínez, Carlos Guadaño-Peyrot, Juliette Archambeau, Sara Pinosio, Francesca Bagnoli, Andrea Piotti, Camilla Avanzi, Giovanni G. Vendramin, Ricardo Alía, Delphine Grivet, Marjana Westergren, 2024, complete scientific database of research data

Abstract: This dataset was produced by a consortium of European research Intitutes. For the data collection, needles were sampled from a total of 1,510 individuals from 82 maritime pine populations covering all previously identified gene pools throughout the species range. 10,185 SNPs were genotyped from the multispecies 4TREE SNPs chip (chip produced within the framework of the B4est project). This dataset was used to carry out a population genetics study.

Abstract: Priročnik za načrtovanje krepitve vključujoče razredne in šolske klime ter preprečevanja in odzivanja na medvrstniško nasilje v osnovni šoli poglobljeno predstavlja pojav medvrstniškega nasilja in njegove dejavnike.
