41. Truncus arteriosus - angiokardiografski prikazAndrej Robida, Darja Fettich, Dimitrij Bartenjev, Nedeljko Krevs, 1984, original scientific article Abstract: Opisali smo angiokardiografsko diagnostiko trunkusa arteriozusa komunisa (TAC)pri dvanajstih otrocih. Ker je možno paliativno in korektivno kirurško zdravljenje, moramo poleg hemodinamike TAC prikazati tip trunkusa, položaj defekta v septumu prekatov, lego arkusa, regurgitacijo skopzi trunkusno zaklopko, anatomijo pljučnih arterij in dodatne anomalije. Pri dveh otrocih smo našli dekstrokardijo, pri vseh situs solitus atrijev in samo pri enem diskordantno atrioventrikularno povezavo. Atrioventrikularni zaklopki sta bilipri vseh perforirani. 3 otroci so imeli univentrikularno srce nedoločljivega tipa. Published in DiRROS: 14.09.2023; Views: 297; Downloads: 80 Full text (550,96 KB) |

Ultrafiltracija vodnih lužilVekoslav Mihevc, Vesna Tišler, Matjaž Kunaver, Darja Kornhauzer, 1994, original scientific article Abstract: V članku je opisana možnost čiščenja odpadnih vod, ki nastanejo pri luženju lesa z vodnimi lužili in sicer z ultrafiltracijo. Ultrafiltrirali smo simulirano odpadno vodo vodnega lužila in proučevali kvaliteto retentata in permeata. 44. Differences in ratio of carbon stable Isotopes among barley grain milling fractions with various concentrations of beta-glucansTom Levanič, Blaž Cigić, Mateja Germ, Ivana Polišenská, Kateřina Vaculová, Igor Pravst, Darja Kocjan Ačko, Ivan Kreft, 2023, original scientific article Abstract: The grains of three barley varieties were milled and sieved to obtain respective milling fractions with a content of beta-glucans (b-G) from 1.4 to 10.7%. The enriched fraction obtained by the extraction and precipitation contained 24.7% of b-G. The differences between the ratio of stable C carbon isotopes were established. Milling fractions with coarse particles had more beta-glucans and a more negative ratio of δ 13C isotope in comparison to the respective intact barley grain. However, the enriched fraction had a less negative isotope ratio. So, it is not expected that the deviation from the stable isotope ratio of grain in milling fractions is the result of the content of b-G, but it depends on other barley grain constituents. In different parts of barley grain, there are substances with different stable isotope ratios, and by milling and sieving, they are assorted to the same milling fraction with most of the b-G. The method for determining the ratio of a stable carbon isotope in diverse barley grain fractions, applied in this investigation, is potentially opening the possibility for an additional method of screening the concentration of bioactive constituents in barley grain. 50. How well did the healthcare system respond to the healthcare needs of older people with and without dementia during the COVID-19 pandemic : the perception of healthcare providers and older people from the SI4CARE Project in the ADRION RegionStella Fragkiadaki, Dionysia Kontaxopolou, Darja Šemrov, Simon Colnar, Mitja Luštrek, Bojan Blažica, Vlado Dimovski, Sokratis G. Papageorgiou, 2023, original scientific article Abstract: One major challenge during the COVID-19 pandemic was the limited accessibility to healthcare facilities, especially for the older population. The aim of the current study was the exploration of the extent to which the healthcare systems responded to the healthcare needs of the older people with or without cognitive impairment and their caregivers in the Adrion/Ionian region. Data were collected through e-questionnaires regarding the adequacy of the healthcare system and were anonymously administered to older individuals and stakeholder providers in the following countries: Slovenia, Italy (Calabria), Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Montenegro, and Serbia. Overall, 722 older people and 267 healthcare stakeholders participated in the study. During the COVID-19 pandemic, both healthcare stakeholders and the older population claimed that the healthcare needs of the older people and their caregivers increased dramatically in all countries, especially in Italy (Calabria), Croatia and BiH. According to our results, countries from the Adrion/Ionian regions faced significant challenges to adjust to the special needs of the older people during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was possibly due to limited accessibility opportunities to healthcare facilities. These results highlight the need for the development of alternative ways of providing medical assistance and supervision when in-person care is not possible.
