24. Comparison of motivation factors in two wood processing companiesJosip Faletar, Denis Jelačić, Leon Oblak, 2016, original scientific article Abstract: V raziskavi smo analizirali motivacijske in demotivacijske dejavnike med zaposlenimi v dveh lesno predelovalnih podjetjih. Raziskava je potekala v letih 2014 in 2015. Opravljena je bila z metodo anketiranja, s pomočjo vprašalnika, ki je vseboval šest vprašanj s ponujenimi možnimi odgovori. Vprašanja so bila zaprtega tipa, anketiranci pa so pomembnost vsebine posameznih odgovorov ocenjevali s štiristopenjsko lestvico. Anketiranih je bilo 180 zaposlenih v vsakem podjetju, rezultati pa so bili statistično obdelani s pomočjo X2 -testa in klasterske analize. S študijo smo ugotovili, da se najbolj pomembni motivacijski dejavniki med zaposlenimi v obravnavanih podjetjih bistveno razlikujejo. Zaposleni so najbolj zaskrbljeni glede socialnih potreb. Menijo tudi, da je v podjetju zelo pomembna psihološka klima. Motivacija zaposlenih je lahko povezana z večjo učinkovitostjo, višjo kakovostjo proizvodnje in poslovnimi rezultati, zato bi bilo treba takšne raziskave pogosteje opravljati.

Entrepreneurship in wood economy and a proposition for an entrepreneurial modelJože Kropivšek, Cene Šubic, Leon Oblak, 2009, original scientific article Abstract: Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial activity of the population are of key importance for economic development, creation of new jobs and rise of the public welfare level. Some general researches (for example GEM - Global Entrepreneurship Monitor) showed that the entrepreneurial potential in Slovenia has not been completely maximized. Considering the findings from the research into entrepreneurship in wood economy we can claim the same also for the domain of wood, since we discovered numerous opportunities that are not being used at the moment. Research was made in small wood-industry companies with the help of questionnaires. On the basis of the established facts, a modern, future and development-orientated entrepreneurial model was elaborated, which is based on internal and external factors of entrepreneurship efficiency. Entrepreneurial activity is based on constant, planned and goal orientated learning and transfer (and use) of this knowledge in the business process.

The research of virtual production in wood industryTomislav Grladinović, Leon Oblak, Jože Kropivšek, Tomislav Poršinsky, Denis Jelačić, Darko Motik, 2007, original scientific article Abstract: Enterprises with inflexible production structures can no longer survive in a turbulent market, as they cannot react to changes that would lead to their development. In order to satisfy specific customer needs related to quality, quantity, cost and delivery terms, it is necessary to restructure the existingenterprises according to the Taylor principle. One of reconstruction possibilities is the implementation of new co-operation forms that lead to virtual enterprises i.e. changeable networks. A changeable network can only achieve efficiency by means of a modern information and communication technology. This paper presents an idea of a changeable network that can be acceptable for all participants within a virtual enterprise.

Launching work orders into production of wood enterprise with the multi-criteria decision-making methodLeon Oblak, Boštjan Novak, Igor Lipušček, Jože Kropivšek, 2007, review article Abstract: Quality information is crucial for planning and running of production in wood industry companies. Information of crucial importance is the following: quality in the production process according to work orders and types of product, the information on the missing materials i.e. constituent parts according to projects i.e. work orders and the information on launching work orders into production. The method of multi-criteria decision-making was used for determining the order of launching group products into production. We studied three main criteria: market factors, organisation-production factors and economic factors. For computer support, we chose the computer programme DEXi, which represents the framework of the expert system for multi-criteria decision-making.

Suggested approach to the financial controlling in wood enterprisesMariana Sedliačikova, Denis Jelačić, Josef Drábek, Leon Oblak, 2005, professional article Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyse theoretical and practical approaches to the fundamentals, place, roles, functions and contents of the financial controlling in wood enterprises. After analysing various works by domestic andforeign authors, we designed our own approach to the problem of financial controlling, which is integrated into the subsystem of operative controlling and emphasises the relations between single subsystems of controlling. Financial controlling is a relatively independent part of enterprise controlling, whose main objective is to provide for liquidity in a company at all times and to ensure that the prime target of profitability is achieved at the same time.

Vrednotenje površinskih sistemov in izbira premaznega sistema z večkriterijskim odločitvenim modelomLeon Oblak, Borut Kričej, 2005, original scientific article Abstract: Zahtevana ali pričakovana kakovost površinskega sistema je odvisna od ustrezneizbire podlage in premaznega sistema ali obloge. Opredeljena je z namenom uporabe in pričakovano trajnostjo izdelka kot celote. če pri vrednotenju kakovosti površinskih sistemov (njihovih fizikalnih, mehanskih in kemijskih lastnosti) praktično ni nobenih ovir, te nastanejo pri končni izbiripremaznih sistemov. Izmed več ponujenih in kvalitativno ovrednotenih premaznih sistemov se je namreč treba odločiti za optimalnega. Prikazan je model večkriterijskega odločanja, s pomočjo katerega je problem izbire najustreznejšega premaznega sistema med več alternativami možno uspešno rešiti.

Analiza pomembnosti informacij za planiranje in vodenje proizvodnje v lesnih podjetjihBoštjan Novak, Leon Oblak, 2006, original scientific article Abstract: V lesni industriji ločimo tri tipe proizvodenj: kosovno, serijsko in masovno. V raziskavi smo ugotavljali, katere informacije so ključne za uspešno planiranje in vodenje posamezne vrste proizvodnje. Potrdili smo hipotezo, da ima vsaka od omenjenih vrst proizvodnje svoje specifičnosti in zato so tudi vrste informacij, ki so potrebne za odločanje v posameznih proizvodnjah, različno pomembne. Rezultati raziskave, opravljene v dvanajstih slovenskih lesnih podjetjih, prikazujejo, katere so tiste informacije, ki so pri odločitvi v zvezi s planiranjem in vodenjem proizvodnje najpomembnejše. Izsledke raziskave bi bilo smiselno upoštevati pri postavitvi informacijskih sistemov v lesnih podjetjih.
