71. Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty of an aortic recoarctation : case reportDušan Pavčnik, Andrej Robida, 1987, original scientific article Abstract: Two cases of successful dilatation of recoarctation of the aorta due to a subclavien turndown operation are reported. In both cases Grüntzig technique was used. The first patient, aged 10 months, had the gradient rediced from 40 mm Hg to 10 mm Hg. The second, aged 1 year, had the gradient reduced from 80 mm Hg to 30 mm Hg. In the second patient right femoral pulse disapeared after procedure and surgery (thrombarteriectomy) was performed. 73. Truncus arteriosus - angiokardiografski prikazAndrej Robida, Darja Fettich, Dimitrij Bartenjev, Nedeljko Krevs, 1984, original scientific article Abstract: Opisali smo angiokardiografsko diagnostiko trunkusa arteriozusa komunisa (TAC)pri dvanajstih otrocih. Ker je možno paliativno in korektivno kirurško zdravljenje, moramo poleg hemodinamike TAC prikazati tip trunkusa, položaj defekta v septumu prekatov, lego arkusa, regurgitacijo skopzi trunkusno zaklopko, anatomijo pljučnih arterij in dodatne anomalije. Pri dveh otrocih smo našli dekstrokardijo, pri vseh situs solitus atrijev in samo pri enem diskordantno atrioventrikularno povezavo. Atrioventrikularni zaklopki sta bilipri vseh perforirani. 3 otroci so imeli univentrikularno srce nedoločljivega tipa. Published in DiRROS: 14.09.2023; Views: 231; Downloads: 62 Full text (550,96 KB) |

76. Effects of the temperature on the pore evolution during sintering of the belite-sulfoaluminate cement clinker using x-ray computed microtomographySabina Dolenec, Lidija Korat, Maruša Mrak, Andrej Ipavec, Lea Žibret, 2020, original scientific article Abstract: In this paper, the effects of the sintering temperature on the pore evolution of the belite-sulfoaluminate cement clinker were evaluated. Belite-sulfoaluminate cement clinker with a targeted composition of 65 w/% b-belite, 20 w/% calcium sulfoaluminate and 10 w/% ferrite was sintered at three different temperatures: 1200 °C, 1250 °C and 1300 °C. To quantitatively evaluate the pore evolution during sintering, a 3D microstructure reconstruction by micro-CT was used. From the data, the pore volume frac- tion and pore number were extracted and compared, and the pore size distribution with the sintering temperature was obtained as well. Additionally, the pore shape and distribution were displayed in 3D based on actual microstructure data. Clinker samples were also characterized by Hg-intrusion porosimetry and gas sorption. The changes in the pore evolution occurred to a larger extent when sintering at 1300 °C. Apart from a significant porosity decrease, pore coarsening was evident at this temperature, reducing their connectivity and shrinkage of the clinker. Simultaneously, the bulk and apparent densities increased with the temperature due to densification, while the BET surface area of the studied clinkers decreased, indicating the rounding of pores and particle coalescence with an increasing grain growth. 79. Measurements of bridge dynamic amplification factor using bridge weigh-in-motion dataJan Kalin, Aleš Žnidarič, Andrej Anžlin, Maja Kreslin, 2022, original scientific article Abstract: The dynamic component of bridge traffic loading is commonly taken into account with a Dynamic Amplification Factor (DAF)—the ratio between the dynamic and static load effects on a bridge. In the design codes, this factor is generally more conservative than in reality. Recently a new method of cal- culation of this factor had been developed. Data from 15 different bridges have been analysed since then and this paper presents the results of the analyses. The background for Bridge Weigh-in-Motion is given, and the most recent method for DAF calculation is described. The sites from which the data originated are presented, and the selection of data discussed. The results of the analyses are presented and discussed and some examples of DAF calculations are shown. Data from the considered sites have invariably demonstrated a DAF decrease with increasing axle load. This is a significant result, especially for assessment of existing structures, since it is beneficial to use measured structural param- eters to optimise structural analysis. 80. Microstructural characteristics of belite–sulfoaluminate cement clinkers with bottom ashLea Žibret, Andrej Ipavec, Sabina Dolenec, 2022, original scientific article Abstract: The incorporation mechanism of impurities derived from raw materials into a belite-sulfoaluminate cement clinker with bottom ash was investigated in two raw mixtures. Alkalis lowered the sintering temperature by 50 °C. Ti stabilized β belite and prevented the formation of γ-belite. Sodalite solid solution showed an incomplete substitution of Si by Al. At a higher Ti content ferrite solid solution trended towards perovskite composition. Although calcium sulfoaluminate only fully developted at 1300 °C, the clinkers sintered at 1200 °C were the most reactive, as the presence of anhydrite at 1200 °C accelerated early hydration. Clinker reactivity decreased with an increase in sintering temperature.
