Keywords: fitocenologija, zgodovina, Slovenija Published in DiRROS: 28.01.2026; Views: 176; Downloads: 93

2. New localities of Buglossoides purpurocaerulea (L.) I. M. Johnston in the Julian Alps (NW Slovenia)Mitja Zupančič, Jože Skumavec, Andrej Rozman, Igor Dakskobler, 2017, original scientific article Abstract: In the north-eastern foothills of the Julian Alps, above the village of Krnica under the peak of Srednji Vrh in the Radovna Valley, we found a new locality of the thermophilous Pontic-Mediterranean (South-European-West-Asian) species Buglossoides purpurocaerulea. This is so far the only locality in the Triglav National Park and the most northeastern locality in the Julian Alps, in a region with a relatively cold Alpine climate. We recorded it in a stand of thermophilous deciduous trees, European hop-hornbeam (Ostrya carpinifolia) and manna ash (Fraxinus ornus), which we for now classify in the association Fraxino orno-Ostryetum carpinifoliae. This species thrives in this community, but also in thermophilous beech forests in similar geological conditions but in a warmer and more humid climate, in the south-western foothills of the Julian Alps above the Bača Valley and in the Tolmin area. 3. Phythogeographic analysis of SloveniaMitja Zupančič, Branko Vreš, 2018, original scientific article Abstract: On the basis of the flora and vegetation and phytogeographical areas of Slovenia, we wanted to determine as objectively as possible the distribution of plant provinces, with an emphasis on the Illyrian province, which is characteristic of Slovenian territory. In the phytogeographical analysis of Slovenia we defined a new, pre-Noricum-Slovenian floral province. Five floral provinces in Slovenia are thus now known: Alpine province of the Alpine-High-Nordic region and Central European, Illyrian, Illyrian-Adriatic and Pre- Noricum-Slovenian floral provinces of the Euro-Siberian- North American region. 4. Izdelani sta bili dve vegetacijski karti v merilu 1 : 10.000. 5. Syntaxonomic problem of Illyrian (Dinaric) fir-beech forests (Abieti-Fagetum dinaricum (illyricum) s. lat.)Mitja Zupančič, 2020, original scientific article Abstract: For the analysis of the syntaxonomic problem of Illyrian fir-beech forests (Abieti-Fagetum dinaricum (illyricum) s. lat.), we selected the most important authors or researchers of these forests in the Dinaric mountains of the Central Balkan Peninsula and Slovenia. These authors are Blečić, Fukarek, Glavač, I. Horvat, Pelcer, Puncer, Stefanović and Tregubov. The analysis revealed floristic and ecological similarities and differences of Illyrian fir-beech forests. They can be classified into a single association Rhamno fallaci-Fagetum.
