Two species, Cheilinus lunulatus and Triacanthus cf. biaculeatus, are recorded for the first time in the Mediterranean Sea, and other four, Ambassis sp., Equulites cf. elongatus, Parupeneus forsskali and Heniochus intermedius are recorded for the first time in the Palestinian waters of Gaza. Although data and material were limited, the results reinforce the useful support of citizen science in monitoring introduction and/or expansion of non-indigenous species in a basin strongly affected by biological invasion, such as the eastern Mediterranean Sea.</dc:description><dc:date>2024</dc:date><dc:date>2026-07-06 14:33:10</dc:date><dc:type>Delo ni kategorizirano</dc:type><dc:identifier>30829</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>UDK: 5</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>DOI: 10.19233/ASHN.2024.17</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language><dc:rights>Imetniki avtorskih pravic na prispevkih so avtorji.
