However, as an essential part of the Earth’s water storage, glaciers are of significant importance for the geo-biologic stability.
As documented in many locations, landslides on glaciers can trigger altered glacier responses, i.e., glacial advance or glacial surges, which is approached via a literature collection in three categories: cases, inventories, and detection. This publication presents the complexity of landslides on glaciers, statistics based on the literature collection, and a possible index stacking approach towards pattern and shape recognition.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Geološki zavod Slovenije</dc:publisher><dc:date>2025</dc:date><dc:date>2025-12-23 03:58:52</dc:date><dc:type>Neznano</dc:type><dc:identifier>24867</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>UDK: 504.4</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>ISSN pri članku: 0016-7789</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>DOI: 10.5474/geologija.2025.009</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>COBISS_ID: 262049795</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></metadata>
