For each municipality, the mean FWI value was calculated across all raster cells falling within its polygon, producing a continuous daily time series for each administrative unit. Data processing methods: The entire workflow was implemented in R, with the terra and sf libraries for raster and vector geoprocessing respectively. Software information: R Core Team (2023).
