This sheet contains the calcimetric measurements for each sample before and after carbonation treatment (after 3 days). It includes the masses of CaCO3 standard and the measured pressure (in psi) used to generate the calibration curve. The CaCO3 content in each sample was calculated based on the pressure difference after 30 seconds of reaction, and for dolomite, after 40 minutes of reaction. These data correspond to Figure 1 and Table 3 in the paper. This sheet presents the calculated CO2 content (wt.%) before and after carbonation, determined by three analytical methods: TGA, FTIR, and calcimeter. These data correspond to Table 3 and Figure 6. CO2 uptake (wt.%) and CO2 sequestration capacity (g CO2/kg sample) were determined by TGA, FTIR, and pressure calcimeter, and calculated using Equations 1 and 2 in the paper. These data correspond to Table 4 in the paper. This sheet contains the original X-ray fluorescence measurements for all samples before carbonation treatment, obtained using UniQuant software. The data are linked to Table 1 in the paper. This sheet contains raw data (temperature, mass loss and derivative mass) for all samples before and after carbonation treatment (after 3 days), obtained using TA Universal Analysis 2000 v.4.5A software. This sheet includes the peak heights of CaCO3 standard (0,5,10,20,30,50,70, and 100 wt%) used to generate the calibration curve. The data are linked to Figure 2 in the paper. This sheet contains the original Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) measurement data, linked to Figure 5 in the paper. FTIR was performed in attenuated total reflectance (ATR) mode using a PerkinElmer Spectrum Two, covering a wavenumber range of 4000–380 cm-1 at a resolution of 4 cm-1 for both untreated and carbonated samples. This sheet contains data for each sample before (untr) and after 3 days of CO2 exposure (carb) from XRD analyses using PANalytical X'Pert HighScore diffraction software (version 4.9). The data are linked to Figure 3 in the paper. This sheet contains XRD analyses with Rietveld refinement, corresponding to Table 2 in the paper.
